Sample of New Year Letter to Brother

If you have a brother and you want to wish him a happy New Year, make sure you make it really special for him. Write a letter which is full of emotion and if you believe that your words will not do justice to the way you feel, then simply add a card or a postcard for him so that it can sum up your feelings in the most perfect way possible.

Dear Sam,

How are you? I hope this letter has found you in good health. I am writing this letter to wish you a very happy New Year. I hope this year brings you lots of joys and helps you accomplish everything that you have ever wanted in life.

I would like to apologize for not being able to make it for Christmas. I did send you a postcard which I am sure you have already received. I have been working extra shifts in Australia and it has become quite hectic for me to work double shifts only to provide for my family. I guess that’s how life is and that is the only reason why I could not be there with you for this Christmas.

I am finally free for this New Year and I would like to wish you a happy New Year. I have missed you a lot over these last few days since this was the first time that we did not spend these days together. However, I will be seeing you soon since I just received an offer to take twenty days off from work.
