Sample of Christmas Letter to Teacher

If you are studying and have a good relationship with any of your teachers you should write them a Christmas letter to show them how much respect and appreciation you have for their mentorship and guidance. You can simply begin by wishing your teacher and his/her family a great Christmas and then sharing some of your plans for the special day. You can also plan up a party for the class after the vacations and then conclude the letter with your best wishes once again.

Dear Miss Holloway,

I am writing this letter to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas. I hope you are enjoying your vacations and time with your family as much as I am. However, I do miss our English classes because they are so much fun with your quizzes and group activities.

In these holidays I was reading Gulliver’s Travels, the book you had recommended for class and I must say it is very exciting. I hope to finish it before classes resume and then discuss it in our group sessions. S

We are arranging a dinner party for Christmas at home and will be inviting all our relatives from around the country. A few of my classmates are also invited, but I am not sure whether they will be able to make it to the party. I was hoping we can have a party at school too after the Christmas vacations, if you think it is possible though. All the students can bring something to eat and we can plan a trip to the park near the school.

Once again, I wish you and your family an amazing time this Christmas. I will see you in school after the holidays; till then, take care.
