Sample of Business Leave Letter
A business leave letter is written by a senior member of the organization to the direct supervisor of the person who is applying for the leave. In this letter the senior member reminds the direct supervisor about how that certain individual is entitled for certain amount of leaves during the year. You have to mention the date on which you are writing the letter. The body of the letter should contain the employee’s joining date and the amount of holidays he/she is entitled to. Then later the dates on which the employee is not going to be coming to work should be written down.
If the employee is taking a holiday for a certain amount of time, you can simply write down the number of days he/she will not be present. Another way is to simply write down the dates on which he/she is not going to be present. The tone throughout the letter remains extremely formal and professional since it is a letter which is communicating something inside the organization.

This is going to take place on May 20, 2014.
