Plot
A chemistry professor diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family’s future. Celebrate the fan-favorite series “Breaking Bad” by revisiting some of the most memorable scenes Jesse Pinkman was supposed to write for episode nine. During the hiatus caused by the writers’ strike, creator Vince Gilligan, impressed with Aaron Paul’s portrayal of Jesse and the fact that everyone liked Paul, decided to reinstate the character and leave Jesse’s fate to another character in the first-season finale. However, the “Ch” in Michael Slovis’ name was highlighted in many early episodes, even though Ch is not a chemical element symbol.

The opening credits use chemical symbols from the periodic table of elements as part of the names: bromine (Br) and barium (Ba) for the title, none for creator Vince Gilligan (except when he gets a V for vanadium), one for members of the cast and crew. All episodes have been repeated on cable on demand in some areas, without commercials but with additional scenes not included on AMC.
