Plot
In the timeless city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family navigate love, oblivion and the inevitability of their past and fateful communities by creating props and sets for the series.
They also faithfully adapt the events of the book and use resources such as concept shots to add to the narrative
We start with incredible photography, a good presentation of the script and creative direction with an approach that respects the original work.
At the same time, it respects the ethnic and cultural aspect of what Colombia is, as a people and a society
Traditions, music, food and racial diversity are part of what the Macondo universe is, as well as the history that makes up the years of violent past in Colombia.
This gives way to its chronology, which is perfectly indented, resulting in a slightly different content, but not a negative connotation for the development of the story
It is, in fact, a work of great commitment and quite faithfulness that evokes nostalgia for what One Hundred Years of Solitude was and the artistic impact it had on subsequent generations influenced by Latin American literature and the works of García Márquez..
