Plot
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made rare friends – for example, she finds a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind and head to the unknown in New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, Sarath is used to city life. When she discovers that her childhood village is threatened by animal traffickers, she decides to return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s wonderfully clumsy biology teacher – tries in vain to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Sarath embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from the humans who are trying to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
