Plot

Nate Busko spent 12 of his 17 years running from the past

Tired of bouncing from foster family to foster family, he now lives in his car, eats corn on the cob, and takes time out of his workouts to shower.

Enter Stan Deen, a popular high school drama teacher facing his own problems

He sees Nate’s latent talent and need for attention and guidance that no other teacher has and decides to help him.

But in a shocking turn of events, Nate is arrested in the middle of class and led away in handcuffs

Stan follows Nate to the police station and not only gets him released on bail, but agrees to welcome him into his home, despite the raised eyebrows he receives from his fellow teachers.
