Dear Grandpa,
How are you? I hope you are in good health along with Grandma. This Christmas I can’t be there with you and I miss you a lot. Nothing compares to the feeling of being home and spending the Christmas Eve with the people I love the most.
Right now I am residing in Texas, America, as my workplace has asked me to shift here. New York was beautiful but I couldn’t spend my Christmas holidays there. Now I am in Texas and I will be here for at least six months.
I really wish I could be there with you as now I realize the importance of family. You always used to tell me that once I leave I will understand the importance of the people who love me and tonight I am missing you so much and reliving that moment.
I will be sending you a card on this New Year’s evening as well and by that time I hope you have replied to my letter. Please let me know how you are now and how your kidney problems are coming along. I am planning to come back for two weeks near February, and I simply can’t wait to see you.
